Meet the doctors who focus on your eyesight, making sure that you see as well as you should and that your eyes are strong and healthy.
The physicians at Eye Associates of Lancaster have all achieved the maximum attainable training in eye care and each is a Board Certified Ophthalmic Surgeon, a Fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, and a Diplomat of the American Board of Ophthalmology.
They provide you with the highest level of eye care, from careful evaluation in the exam room to performing the most advanced surgical and laser techniques of restoring and preserving eyesight.

and the Lancaster Surgery Center.

Pierre K. Palandjian, D.O.
Dr. Palandjian will base his practice in comprehensive ophthalmology, cataract
surgery, laser surgery, and holds a sub-specialty in treating glaucoma.
Dr. Palandjian graduated from Wilkes University and received his medical
degree from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine (PCOM). He
completed his medical internship at the Delaware County Memorial Hospital in
the Crozer Chester Health System and his Ophthalmology residency at PCOM, where
he served as Chief Resident his final year. Dr. Palandjian
is fellowship trained in Glaucoma under Dr. Theodore Krupin of University Eye
Associates in Chicago, IL. He is Board Certified by the American Osteopathic
Board of Ophthalmology. A native of Pennsylvania, Dr. Palandjian, has
relocated to his home state after practicing in group practice in the Eastern
Shore of Maryland. His wife is Board certified by the American Board
of Family Practice. He is the father of two children and a Pittsburgh
Steelers fan.
Dr. Palandjian is a member or the Pennsylvania Medical Society, American Medical
Society, and American Academy of Ophthalmology.
Daniel Pallen, M.D.
Dr. Pallen is a graduate of the City University of New York and the State University of New York School of Medicine at Buffalo. He completed his internship at Hillside Medical Center on Long Island and spent two years as a Medical Officer with the United States Air Force. He performed his Ophthalmic residency at the Albany Medical Center Hospital.
John W. Sharp, Jr., M.D.
Dr. Sharp graduated from the University of Scranton and received his medical degree from Rutgers Medical School. He interned in Internal Medicine at the Abington Memorial Hospital and completed his residency in Ophthalmology at Geisinger Medical Center.
Patrick T. Tiedeken, M.D.
Dr. Tiedeken, a graduate of Dickinson College, received his medical degree at the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine. He completed an Internal Medicine residency at the Presbyterian University of Pennsylvania Medical Center and his residency in Ophthalmology with the University of Pittsburgh Eye & Ear Hospital. He is fellowship trained in Ophthalmic Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery at Vanderbilt University Medical Center, Orbital Surgery and Neuro-ophthalmology with Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh, and Glaucoma with Wills Eye Hospital.
